As the end of the growing season is approaching, I began doing some inventory of plants. This (shrubby) cinquefoil (pensashanhikki) madness was originally inspired back in 2019 by a book by Peter Chan. It's been ups and downs with them, as they occasionally lose branches over winter.

Another Peter Chan trick I use is making training pots from everyday plastic (and also non-plastic) containers.
